What is a hybrid character?
A hybrid character is made up of skills thate are not in the same category or have two or more skills in the same category. e.g. Magic Soldier, Magic Bowman, Wizard Jr., Miner and Producer.
Problems with hybrids
1. Hybrid characters that use bow and any other weapon will not benefit from the same advantages as you would assume.
For ex.: If you have the bow skill and the sword skill then when you increase the sword skill the attack done by the bow stays the same!
This has been proven to be the case with all melee weapon skills. An axe skill will not increase attacking power of a sword and vise versa.
2. Finess and shield should not be taken at the same time. Finess requires a weapon in both hands to work with the exceptions to bows and spears. There is no point in taking the shield skill because you will not be able to wear shields.
Tips about creating a hybrid
There are many types of hybrid. For a magic user, try to always use curse and vestment for faster cast time, thats a general rule for magic users. When building any character for fighting, unless you are very advanced at playing, try only use one main weapon, i.e. a staff for spells, axe for attacking. Switching from 2 weapons to successfully use a combo is quite hard.
